The Garden Party is an intimate festival set to
run on Saturday 9th June in the beautiful 18th
Century walled garden of Ballinlough Castle, County
Meath. This 12 hour fest already has a line-up
to be proud of, with many more acts to be announced.
So far on the bill are headliners, the legendary
Pet Shop Boys, the equally legendary Carl Cox
and one of the hottest dance acts of the last
few years, Hot Chip (Live). All this plus Vitalic,
Andrew Weatherall, Switch, Charles Webster, Donnacha
Costello, Bodytonic Sound System plus plenty more
on the cards. The walled garden venue also boasts
cabaret, mouth-watering gourmet food and Pod mixologists
shaking up fabulously tasty cocktails. No better
way to start of the swathe of summer month festivals!

Rolling Stones Concert - Slane Castle
The Rolling Stones are set to play Slane Castle
on August 18th 2007 as part of their European
arena tour. It will be the 25 years since The
Rolling Stones last performed at Slane Castle.
Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood &
Charlie Watts announced today, they are coming
back in 2007 fitter than ever. This one is not
to be missed.

Midlands Music Festival takes place over two days
on the beautiful grounds at Belvedere House in
nearby Mullingar. Topping the bill over two days
and nights will be legendary artist Christy Moore,
Kris Kristofferson, Glen Campbell, Steve Earle
and Paul Brady. In addition Richard Thompson,
Ricky Skaggs.

place. Co Meath's Le Chéile festival
(based in Oldcastle) has been doggedly going
about its business for several years. Primarily
an arts and music festival, it might not have
the budget of city-based events (and it certainly
doesn't seem to have the sponsorship), but it
manages nonetheless to come up with the goods...
The venues are intimate but the atmosphere is
excellent..."
